DAY 6. Foum Zguid-M'HAMID. 175 kms.
Last day. No need to fix carburetors or anything, just breakfast, load the luggage and walk out of base camp. Richy sent us a message last night telling us that he had solved the problem of KTM, in the end it was just bullshit cable starter and who knows what else. The plan for today is again M'Hamid along the quickest path possible to get there prontito, loading trailers and begin the return to Spain soon.

of all, some 30 kms anchota track, ready to be paved soon, more boring and longer than a day without bread. Arguably the first corner of the day, going to cross the sandy bed of a river, I went to the ground. I buried the front wheel and fell like a sack. The boredom, the monotony of the track, fatigue and pain in hands after so many days and miles accumulated, I took their toll. Amarok on the other hand is euphoric, or diarrhea or slaps or foot sores took away the desire to give the handle.
Lines and more lines. Some stop for most basic needs, and pulls, go ahead.
About 80 km calculation we had to cross a mountain barrier. We climbed along a very craggy and full of rocks and large stones. Sometimes had to dip into first gear, and although short, this little port of mountain was intense. At the top, a break to dry off the sweat
and to contemplate the vast plateau from where we ascended:
We were in a large rocky plateau. It gave us time to give some curves, but a few.
opened Amarok track at great pace, while I was carried away by the bike. Basically the problem was that I was very sore hands. The hardness of the palms bothered me more than usual, not driven to taste, and I almost fell several times because of this laziness. Grab the handlebar controls, yes, but with little force, and when a boulder unexpected snacking me the address where she was wanted. I do not know if it is coincidence that the ISDE are six days and that the latter is light, but I had come to this sixth round of Six Days my personal rather weak. Almost on autopilot, I began to follow the trail of Amarok, dropping the miles and trying to avert a disastrous fall in the very last mile of the journey.
More rocky tracks that ran through uninhabited plateaus:

area Some curious
And following the standard pattern, more hamada:
As we approached I began to recognize M'Hamid ground already familiar to me, sandy and comfortable. Certainly better to end the trip on sand stones not about annoying. We arrived at the hotel
Tabarkat, where we expected Richy, switch off your bikes and that was that. 1400 kms in 6 days. Thankfully, the last stage had been only 175 kms and a half days, I was not for more progress. Before loading the bikes, I tried Amarok DRZ to see how it was my ex-bike with about 20000 miles and I was surprised that it appeared to be more comfortable in my DRZ low current, and even I would say that the engine was less murmuring !!!!. In contrast, the motor stretched less. Bikes things, the fact is that despite being very Curran, the machine was very thin. I was not expecting.
About 2 pm we loaded the bikes on trailers. During that half hour took more sun than in all previous days. How to paste the lorenzo in early April! We pay our debts in the hotel and went guns with cars to Marrakech. This time we did not want repetor a marathon journey across Morocco 1100 kms in one day, we wanted to do it in two stages stopping to rest. At the height of Zagora we were met by a mechanic Ali Gordito, Michelin Baja tires offering, Dessert and all kinds of assistance:

The colleague I was going along with the bike and I let go of the speech came to the window, did not care to go straight or lying in the middle in a curve, a figure, let's go. Barely noticeable, but instead of carrying a registration plate with the Tuareg, which symbolizes the Paris-Dakar rally.
that day gave us time to spend Ouarzazate, crossing the Atlas through amazing night port-n-Tichka Tizzi and get rendered to Marrakech on the edge of the 12 at night. We parked in a clearing adjacent to a gas station, and slept again in cars. I at least enjoyed "single room", a luxury.

Will we?
