The Misfits are a punk rock pioneer horror subgenre of punk band formed in 1977 in Lodi (New Jersey) by Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Manny Martinez. Over time the group has been characterized to compose songs based on horror and science fiction. The band, which took its name from the last film made by Marilyn Monroe, was dissolved in 1983 and rejoined in 1995 and without Glenn Danzig as a creative leader.

However, this period lasted only six years until 2001, new differences arose between band members out of it generating the first of Graves and Dr. Chud and Doyle after. Since 2005, Misfits and Marky Ramone has no battery in place of another veteran of the old school punk like the Colombian robbery that had played earlier in Misfits between 1982 and 1983 when he recorded the album Earth AD in 2007 the band celebrates its 30th anniversary with a series of recitals in Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico and the United Together. And preparing a new album due out in early 2008.
Today its members are Jerry Only on bass and vocals, Dez Cadena on guitar and vocals and Robo on drums. Misfits
